Dr David Hendrey: Chiropractor
For Dr David Hendrey of Hendrey Chiropractic on Lake Kawana his work reflects his commitment to his profession, the local community and his keen interest in sport. Since graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) Dr David has helped established Australia’s busiest Chiropractic Centre for children, practiced in Ireland, Scotland and England; served as a member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia and is a popular spokesperson in his field.
In 2006 he was flown to Melbourne to provide chiropractic care for McLarens Formula 1 Driver Juan Pablo Montoya. In the past Dr David has been a team Chiropractor in national and international triathlon events. He has also represented Australia at the International Triathlon Championships in Mexico in 2002 and in again in 2009 on the Goldcoast (World Championships) in one of his favourite sports.
Dr David is also highly active in the community competing in the Island Charity Swim for the last 10 years – every August to help raise funds for the Nambour and Currimundi Special Schools. He battles the choppy waters from Mudjimba around Old Woman Island and back to Mooloolaba in the 11 km ocean swim. Each year Dr Hendrey raises $1500 towards this cause. In addition, Dr Hendrey is in his 8th year of raising money for the Kawana Surf Life Saving Club by running the “Lap of the Lake’ event at Lake Kawana every March and August. This is a great event attracting swimmers from Noosa to Brisbane.
Dr Hendrey has also authored his first book “Vision for Vitality” www.vibranthealthyliving.info which was launched in December 2009.

Our Naturopath, Joel Coughlan offers a professional health service which focuses on the clients cellular health through a series of scientific testing procedures. These procedures can identify the potential causes of the clients current state of health. Once this is established we tailor a natural regime to correct the underlying causes, to bring about optimum health & vitality! With over 10 years experience as a Naturopath, Joel Coughlan has a special interest in incorporating Live Blood Analysis for accurate assessment of individual requirements to bring about better health. Joel has a keen interest in surfing, rock climbing and travelling and finds that following the principles of Naturopathy and natural health allows him to enjoy a Vibrant Healthy lifestyle.

Penne: Massage Therapist
Our Massage therapist Penne has a love for being outdoors ~ enjoying running, wakeboarding, and going to the beach. She inspires others daily with raw healthy food creations, is a super mum to 4 energetic kids, and will compete in her first 1/2 marathon on the Gold Coast this year. She has a solid customer base who come to her for both relaxation and remedial massages.
Josh : Sports Injury Therapist/Massage Therapist
Our Sports Injury/Massage Therapist Josh has been a therapist for over 24 years and has worked with elite sports teams and individuals including the Sydney Swans AFL team, Parramatta Eels and Penrith Panthers NRL teams, Australian and Japanese Olympic Athletes, professional dancers and numerous other professional and amateur athletes across all sports and activities.
Josh loves working with all of his clients to achieve the best recovery or maintenance outcomes possible. Being a high level sportsman all his life Josh understands how important exercise can be to individuals, teams and families.
Josh has done extensive study in Anatomy and Physiology and Biomechanics and has lectured in functional and structural anatomy and sports injury therapy all over Australia.
Josh can quickly determine functional and/or structural issues that are causing you problems and put a treatment plan in place to help resolve them as quickly as possible, so you can get back to doing what you love sooner.
